Remixes and Reflections

We’ve done some remixes over the years for other bands. Many of them have been, or still are available on sites like mp3.com, soundclick.com, etc. We figured it was about time that we collect them all in one place, and furthermore to make them available as a podcast,  and RSS Feed to anyone who would like to keep up with them. Occasionally, we may add our recollections and reflections to the feed, which should spice things up once in awhile. We also may provide you with previews of new, or other previously unheard tracks, as well.

Enjoy the first one we’ve posted. It is our extremely popular remix of Depeche Mode’s “I Feel Loved (dead poets society)” mix.

DPS remixes Minefield.

Awhile back we announced that we were remixing some tracks from a cool darkwave band called MINEFIELD. While two of our tracks will be released on the MINEFIELD remix album due to be released in the spring of 2003, all three songs are available for listening at Soundclick.com/deadpoetssociety.

The Portside Pub

The Dragonflies, circa. 2003The band wants to thank all of you who attended the CD Release party at The Portside Pub on Friday the 1st. Special thanks goes out to those were patient during the technical difficulties that made for an extended sound check. We also wanted to thank the two fans who drove all way from Seattle just to see us. That was very cool. Brundlefly and The Dragonflies were awesome. We hope you didn’t miss them.

If you were listening to Area 54, on KMCQ 104.5 FM, The Dalles tonight around 8:15 p.m., you were able to hear the Dead Poets Society remix of "I Feel Loved" by Depeche Mode.
